About Us:
Homeward Bound Professional Animal Care, LLC has been providing top-notch dog walking services in the Lakes Region since 2011. With over 35,000 visits completed, we treat every pup like family.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for dog walkers to join our team in Gilford, Laconia, Belmont, and Meredith. Walks take place between 10 AM – 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability for 2-5 days per week.

Who We’re Looking For:
You’re a great fit if you:
✔ Love dogs and have experience handling them.
✔ Have reliable transportation—this role requires a lot of driving.
✔ Own a smartphone with data and a camera.
✔ Have daily access to email and the internet.
✔ Can pass a background check and drug test.
✔ Are physically fit, able to lift 45 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles per day.
✔ Feel comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and energy levels (including strong leash pullers).
✔ Have great time management skills and can stick to a schedule.
✔ Communicate well—both with clients (writing clear pet care journals) and with our team.
✔ Are responsible, observant, patient, and professional.
✔ Can work occasional holidays if needed.
✔ Can commit to at least 6 months with us.

Job Responsibilities:
🐶 Walk dogs safely on-leash in all weather conditions.
🏡 Keep client homes secure while pets are in your care.
📲 Use our online scheduling system to track visits and enter pet care journals.
⛽ Receive mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly pay and client tips.
🎓 Get paid training to ensure you're set up for success.

All of our positions are currently for Supplemental Part Time Income
What this means is that our schedule fluctuates and we can't promise you a certain amount of hours every week. It solely depends on your availability and our client's needs. One week may be heavier than the next and your hours will fluctuate.
